My first bloggers meet/event!

Hello
So sorry for the absence! I have been so ridiculously off my feet for the past few weeks! As some of you are aware, I have been away in Hong Kong for two weeks. I arrived back last Sunday 10pm and went straight back to work on the Monday. Also my mum hasn't been too well and had to go into hospital so for the past week I have been working, trying to get my sleeping hours corrected back UK hours and back and forth the hospital to visit my super awesome mamma.

As it's Sunday, I was suppose to have this post up and ready by now but its 5:00pm and today I have been out at my 4 year old cousin birthday party then to the hospital. Eeeeeek too much to do in too little time!

So back to the post, yesterday I attended the Cardiff bloggers meet organised by the lovely Leanne, Laura, Chantelle & Georgina. (please click their names to visit their blogs)
Was a fantastically organised event, firstly arriving at the Brew House for some drinks and lunch, then we headed towards Crabtree & Evelyn for some chats and demonstations of new products with the staff. Later in the afternoon we met up again at the St. Davids Fashion show styled by the lovely JP. After the show, the girls had kindly organised a meet and greet Q&A session with JP.... What a sweetie... loved his outfit, loved the chat even more.

The Brew House
Goodie Bags!

I had a really great day! Everyone was so chatty, friendly and just so lovely to meet! Pretty excited for the next meet, and next time... I shall be on time.

I want to dedicate this post to the 4 girls Leanne, Laura, Chantelle & Georgina and a massive thank you for organising such a wonderful event, goodie bags, everything about the day. I really appreciate all the time and effort you guys have put into this! Thank you!

Love.

Skullcandy Navigator Headphone

Hi guys!
My last post before I head to Hong Kong and today I would love to share with you... My New Headphones!! Check them out! Skullcandy Navigator... ahh pure perfection...

So been looking to do a music related post a while! My blog started as a fashion blog and slowly it started to become fashion/beauty/lifestyle/design collaborated haha! I hope you all still enjoy the reads!

So back to these super sleek and stylish headphones...
As someone who loves fashion, beauty and accessories the first that drew me into the  ' Navigator' was the design. Skullcandy obviously recognises the design/style is just as important as the performance so they came up with what I can only describe as a piece of genius!
In my personal opinion, the design is spot on. Comes in four colours, black, white, blue or pink, all which looks fabulous! So difficult picking my favourite, love them all!
The metallic feel of the headphones gives a very slick glossy glam feeling! I love love love it.

The design is very compact and with the cushioned headband its super comfortable... Not sure about you guys but I have a small head so I always struggle to find a set of headphones that sit on my head nicely with the ear pieces sitting where they are suppose to sit!

So my itunes is full of all kinds of music, from pop, indie, alternative, house, RnB through to hiphop and the headphones deliver such awesome supreme sounds makes me want to dance (well I say dance, but what I really mean is prance like an idiot) haha!

So if you're on a hunt for a new set of versatile headphones that look sleek, streamlined, stylish and fashionable that also deliver excellent sound then look no further! Purchase these! For £84.99 I really think its worth it!

Right guys and gals!!! I am off to Hong Kong! whoop whoop whoop! I shall rock these Skullcandy Navigator Headphones throughout my journey and look 'super cool' haha... I am posting this now but keep posted and I shall update a pic of me with the headphones at London Heathrow! ha stay 'tuned'

Peace x

HOW TO DIY STUDDED SHOES!

Hi readers!
How is everyone Easter holiday's panning out?
I spent my good Friday completely chilling! I ate chocolate, caught up on my american dramas, drank lots of tea, and I prepared this blog post... :)

So you guys remember the last pair of shoes I customised? If not, you can visit HERE I got a great response for sharing that will you all so I thought I would show you how it's done with another pair of heels with a different design (same technique though)

So here we go...

You will need:
• Flat screw back studs (for this style I only used 8 studs but it depends on the design and the size of your feet, the quantity may vary)
• Pencil
• Lighter
• Pliers
• A screwdriver in which fits the screw of the stud flat back, (in this case it was a small phillips screw head)
• A pointy/sharp metal nail or pin (thick enough to push a hole through the shoe, also a similar width to the flat screw back stud, this just makes the process easier)

You can easily find all the above on EBAY..!
To be honest you only need ebay for the studs.... everything else on the list you can buy in the local DIY shop or even a pound shop!

STEP 1:
Firstly use a pencil and mark out exactly where you want the studs to go

STEP 2:
Very carefully use a lighter to heat up the sharp nail/pin (make sure you don't directly hold the metal nail/pin as the whole thing heats up and you can burn yourself! Hold nail with pliers)

STEP 3:
After heating the nail, very quickly whilst nail is still piping hot, pierce through the marked spot on the outer shoe. Be very careful not to burn yourself!

STEP 4:
Take the nail out and go through the hole again from the inner shoe, do this a few times if the hole is still stiff. The cleaner the hole the easier it is to fit the stud.

STEP 5:
Get the stud and the flat back

STEP 6:
Push the back through the hole, if theres a small struggle getting the flatback to reach the other side, get your screwdriver and turn the back, this should do the trick!

STEP 7:
Once you start to see the flatback screw come through the other side, put the stud on and screw tightly in place

STEP 8:
Repeat above steps again until your design is complete!

HAVE FUN GUYS AND GALS and please do tweet me if you follow this! would love to see the outcome @lealeaho
